Struck with October 28, 1866 San Francisco circular datestamp and a bold blue boxed "COLLECT" auxiliary handstamp, with manuscript “7” in blue pencil indicating the amount due to fulfill the international rate beyond the prepaid domestic 3c. Return notice "If not delivered within 10 days..." printed vertically at left (RA-01). With "Care of American Council, La Paz, Lower California (Mexico) notation.
This is the only known Truman & Co. cover sent internationally.
