The 2c is tied by a Los Angeles, Cal., Apr. 5, 1904 machine cancel on a cover to Tientsin, China, via Seattle, WA, with black "T 15" in circle, purple "REFUSED BECAUSE TAXED" and "RETURN TO SENDER" markings, and a pink pointing hand. Returned with China #J3 and #J6, both tied by fancy grid cancels. The cover with wrinkles.
