Unlisted "Stars and Bars" Flag and Sailor Sticker Variety

The pair with large margins except in at top, tied by "Mobile Ala., Jul 26, 1861" double-circle datestamp with inverted date and a partial Patriotic Stars and Bars Flag and Sailor sticker affixed at left. 1861 docketing at left. The cover repaired at top with no flap. An attractive cover.
The 8 Star design of the sailor sticker is unlisted in Confederate Patriotic Covers Including a Check List of All Known Designs by Van Dyk Macbride. He lists an 11 star and 7 star variety on page 62.
