Are you looking for a specific stamp or postal history item?
Whether it’s a rare local, a western express, a favorite town or route, or anything in between, we’d love to help build your collection. Send us your want list and let us know what you’re searching for. We might already have it, know where to find it, or have it included in an upcoming sale.
In addition to items featured in our auctions, we maintain a large inventory and may already have something of interest. We’re also constantly adding new material to our personal collections and have strong relationships with collectors across a wide range of specialties.
We travel to stamp shows around the country and are always on the lookout; not only for ourselves, but for fellow collectors. If we spot something that matches your interests, or if an upcoming auction will include an item from your list, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Please email your want list to info@americanastamps with “Want List” included in the subject line or click the “Email Us” button below. All want lists are kept strictly confidential. We never share or sell contact information. We’ll notify you if something becomes available, either in our inventory or a future auction.
Please include this information in your email:
- Specific items or catalog numbers you’re looking for
- General collecting interests (e.g., locals, expresses, California towns, etc.)
- Budget or condition preferences
- Attached files (PDF, Word, Excel) if you keep a detailed list
